Open positions: Graduate student (Ph.D. level) and/or postdoctoral fellowship
Supervising researcher and laboratory: Dr Alexei Pshezhetsky laboratory studying lysosomal biochemistry and genetics, Research Center of CHU Sainte-Justine
Project length: Length of doctoral studies or 2 years with renewal opportunity for postdoctoral fellowship.
Start date: Immediately
Project description: The successful candidate will study the roles of lysosomal neurominidases/sialidases 1 and 4 in regulation of cell signalling and metabolism. Applicants should have a strong background in molecular genetics, biochemistry and cell biology. Experience in handling laboratory animals is an advantage.

Affiliation is possible with Department of Biochemistry, University of Montreal.
We are seeking dynamic, motivated students interested in cellular biology, biochemistry and research on animals.
Salary: Salary is commensurate with experience.
