Student Association of the Research Center of the CHU Sainte-Justine
Word from the President:
The Student Association is made up of peers who are pursuing their Master’s or doctorate and are part of the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center. The Association’s first duty is to:
- represent students to the Research Center Directorate.
- listen attentively to the students, have student representatives present throughout the Research Center to hear about the students’ needs and direct them to the right parties when problems arise.
- organize the students’ annual congress.
- organize recreational activities that will allow them to establish ties with their colleagues and discuss various issues that excite them.
The representatives are democratically elected in due course by the student body as a whole and they undertake to organize and announce various activities organized by the local student association and other student associations that are part of the FAÉCUM (Fédération des Associations Étudiantes du Campus de l’Université de Montréal).
The executive of the student association is made up of the following one-year positions:
- President
- 2 Vice-Presidents – one Francophone and one Anglophone
- Secretary-Treasurer
- Floor Representative
